New member ( Greg ) a Skink moved into my house
I have just had this skink move into my kitchen wall cavity. ( entry from outside the house )
I don’t think there is any way he could enter into the kitchen in the house ( unless he ate through the wall )
He comes and goes as he pleases . And as of yet has not caused any problems . He is wild not bread )
My question is should I let him live in the wall cavity of the house or when he leaves should I block the entrance he uses . ( A hole in the outside wall )
Could he cause damage to the house eg . wiring , walls , nests ect or any other problems if I leave him there
The garden with herbs and vegetables is only only 3 meters away , something ate half a green tomato and left small amounts of it on the ground. Do skinks eat tomatoes ?
Where I live in surrounded by national park ( blue mountains N S W ) and there are a lot of smaller skinks around , and a lot enter the house from time to time this one is the largest
The entry point he uses would be more than 3 meters off the ground ( climbs up a brick wall to get there . The picture Attached is where he sometimes sits on hot days near the hole he uses
What type of skink is he how large will he grow
Kind regards
Greg
