Not sure if you still call it a quick on anything that isn’t a dog or a cat, buuuuut anyways...
I noticed today that my boys nails on his front left foot are a lot shorter than the other foot, and have small dark dots on the tips. I’m not sure if he wore them down too much and hit the quick, or if it’s just dirt since I let him in the yard yesterday.
He has a few rough things in his enclosure, but I’ve never seen him scratch/dig at them or have any trouble moving over them. His substrate (desert snow from T Rex) is a bit low ATM cause I’m waiting on more to be delivered, but he’s still able to burrow easily. His nails don’t seem to be bothering him because he’s walking around like normal & doesn’t react unusually when I touch his foot.

Honestly doesn't look like anything to worry about to me. Look like nice short nails. Give me a close up from the top of his feet to verify.
