reliable breeders?

looking for reliable breeders of Australian blue tongue skinks that ship to Canada or near us Canada border Seattle. I have a budget of around 150-200$ looking for a baby or juvenile.

I'm not saying at all that it can't be done, but I just want you to be aware that most breeders of Australian species start their Northerns (the only "inexpensive" Aus subspecies) at around $200, and that does not include shipping. There are a few breeders in Canada as well, and I actually don't have any idea what they generally charge, but you may want to look into that option as well.
The only way you'll get a skink from the US to Canada without paying a bunch of money, is to have it shipped near the border on the US side and arranging to bring it through customs yourself.

what are your recommended breeders in the us? also I specifically wanted a Australian blue tongue because I want a large lizard and I don't want to have to worry about humidity with the Irian Jaya's, Indonesians, and Merauke's (p.s I'm also kind of interested in Merauke's). also I'm a first time owner of blue tongues so I'm not really looking for anything too too fancy. thanks!

Here is a list of our recommended breeders. In Canada there is also Pink T. Monkey (Northerns) and Bluish (Meraukes) whom you may want to contact.

It sounds to me like a Northern would indeed be ideal for you; maybe contact whom you can, and be saving your money in the meantime?
FYI, I may have some baby Meraukes available in a month or so, if you decided that the humidity issues were something you could take on, and I have shipped to the border before for pick-up to Canada --my babies however start at $350-400...
With a bit more money, you would probably have a few more options. Easier said than done, I do understand; sometimes either waiting for a deal to come up, or waiting til the next season, are good options too. Hard as it is.

Also keep in mind that if you are attempting a personal import by picking up the animal state side and bringing it back up to Canada, you will have to pay sales tax on the full cost of the animal going through the Canadian customs side of the inspection (this also requires an American side inspection). I can't see the personal import option being in your price range especially when considering the exchange rates (unless you have already taken that into acount).
