how long to full size?

how long to full size?

just a question- about how long does it usually take for a blue tongue skink to reach full size?
ive had mine for about a year now and he's only about 18". is he just small, or have i malnourished him or something?

some grow faster then others, if you are not power feeding your friend it could take up to two years to reach full size, and then they may still do some really slow growing. Some are smaller then others though.
I am a keeper not owner of my animals, but i keep them well and they repay me in kind.

It also depends on what type of BTS you have. My Indo is over 2 years old and is 19 inches full grown. A northern or other larger species will get quite a bit bigger than that though.

18" at a year sounds normal, don't force the growth with extra/over feeding is my opinion, both previous posts info is to be taken into consideration as well, post a pic so everyone and their mum can give you an opinion.
