My Tanimbar has lost all of his right-hand fingers and 2 toes from each backleg. His enclosure was too dry and toes had bad shed on them. Soften the scales next time on your skinks feet (in a bath etc) and then carefully "massage" the tiny paw and fingers, if he lets you do it. Usually the bad shed comes off then.
