Shedded skin was constricting tail
Hi! I’m a new skink owner of a month or so and my skink had went through its first shedding since I’ve gotten it, it had shedded skin constricting its tail and after doing some research I submerged the shedding skin in sanatary water and using wet Q tips and tweezers I managed to remove what I had thought was all of the shedded skin but it’s been a few weeks and there’s still a sort of semi clear/ white Coating around the previously constricted part And the tail has yet to reach The previous full look, I can’t tell if this is simply how it looks when it’s healing or if it’s somehow another layer of shedded skin, I am unsure of what to do whether I should give it more time to heal or go to the Vet

Re: Shedded skin was constricting tail
Could have been a previous injury causing the irregular shed. Doesn't look like cause for concern, may correct itself with another shed or two.
