Bioactive help!

Postby CircusCandi12 » Sat Jan 01, 2022 10:09 pm

Hi all. So, my vet suggests I make Stryker's enclosure bioactive and now I'm working to do so. I bought a repti bio kit that comes with leaves, soil, etc. as well as some live plants such as wheatgrass and an umbrella plant, an automatic mister, and a new UVB lamp. I just want some more advice. What other live plants do you recommend? I want him to be able to gnaw on some of the plants if he wishes to (and I know he will anyway). I'm also planning to get some isopods soon, too but I'm afraid he may eat them lol
Proud papa of Stryker the Indonesian~

I would not use live plants at all, as he will just destroy them. If you decide to, just be a hundred percent sure they are safe. Isopods are nocturnal and if you use smaller types he probably won't even bother with them. I keep about 10 different types and find the powder orange to be the most prolific.
