Reptilinks?

Postby Vindication10 » Sun Mar 21, 2021 11:26 am

Hi, I learned about a service called Reptilinks. They provide a full meal for skinks and other reptiles in a sausage form. I was wondering if anyone has tried it for their reptiles? My skink doesn't like veggies and I'm trying to find an easy way for her to get more of it. I provided the link below of what I was planning on buying.

Have you tried mincing the veggies and mixing them in with everything else like they would do the sausages? They seem pricey. Otherwise, I don't really see anything wrong in the ingredients list. Never seen hissing roaches on any insect list for BTS, so those are probably fine. You'll have to keep in mind to give fruit as treats since the links dont have any in them.

What are you feeding them now? My Skink is responding really well to wet dog food and minced up veggies. So it would have a lot of what would be in one of those sausages without the outside wrapper. ProfessorHerp on YouTube swears by reptilinks for his tegu so I think it’s safe to say they’re good and healthy. So if your skink is really picky it might be a good option.

Here is a really good video by Reptile Mountain. You could use natural baby food mixed into your food to get your Skink some of that missing veggie in their diet.

My skinks loved reptilinks. I did the chicken and veggi links and the quil and veggie. Reptilinks are a great company.

You may have to cut the casing around the link at first. I had to do that. But once they know what they are, my boys LOVED them. I was just thinking I needed to order some more.

I might have to give them a try too. Do they freeze well? I only have one BTS so I certainly won't be able to go through a lot of these without freezing them.

I just watched this video yesterday. Seems like a really solid company. While the product is kinda expensive, I think it's expensive for the right reasons!

Mine should be arriving tomorrow, and I'll let y'all know how my skinks like them. I have some that will eat anything, so I'll just go by the picky ones. And being they are created for reptiles, it'll give all the dog food haters less to complain about. When I consider what I spend on the rest of the stuff I buy for them, the price does not bother me at all. If they like them it's a done deal.

I might have to get some. I give mine some dog food with veggies and she's not super interested.
