Need help

Hello my name is Nathan and I have 12 years old skink, as I was taking him out into the sun he started to throw some clear slimy fluid, and now he isn't eating or drinking anymore I'm don't know what to do or if what is happing is fine or very bad

Do you have any pictures of the fluid, and what the lizard looks like now? How long have you had it, and what’s the enclosure humidity? Besides the fact it isn’t eating or drinking, is it acting normally? My first thought is that it might be an upper respiratory infection, but I’m honestly still learning myself, so don’t put too much stock in what I say. I suggest taking it to the vet’s, honestly.

Same as above: better safe than sorry consult a vet/book a consult. Not sure if he/she had been roaming for very long before it happened? If in the garden/outdoors always potential to ingest unwanted materials.
