So since I got my skink Oliver in March he had had this wound on his face. I asked her about it only a few days after I got him where I took him to a check up and she said it was fine.
I took him there again later in May cause it was still there. She reopened the wound and told me to clean it every day. I did. It doesn't seem to be going away...
I am afraid it is scale rot and that the vet failed to see it.
Should I worry?

I see the wound, but it is hard to tell. Can you get a zoomed in shot of just the area that is in question. Did they put your skink on antibiotics? Do you know how the wound happened in the first place?

No idea how it happened.
He has been on antibiotics also because his leg got swollen before I got him aswell. His last home didn't even know that he needed high humidity or calcium so there was a lot to deal with when I got him.

I'm taking him to another vet tomorrow hoping that they can see something the first vet couldn't

Looks like he got impaled by something. Glad you got him into another vet for a second opinion. What is the antibiotic he was put on? It should heal the woun depending on what it is. Good luck and keep us posted.
