Quarantine setup for Halmahera

Postby SalamitheSkink » Mon Jun 22, 2020 10:51 am

I need to put my 3 year old Halmahera in quarantine for roundworms. I have a 5x18x24 pvc enclosure I just finished building but didn't put him in yet. It's got a proheat panel and minimal vent holes to keep humidity in. Should I just use that as the enclosure? I was thinking I'll just put non porous "furniture", lots of hides and newspaper in it so I can easily clean it frequently. Any reason I shouldn't?

Assuming I'm reading correctly that the enclosure is 5 ft. by 18 inches and you've tested it to ensure it maintains adequate heat and humidity levels, then no reason why you couldn't.

Yup. All tested. Was going to start setting it up with bioactive "stuff", lol but I can just hold off until this clears. Thanks!
