My skink will wee/poo every time I handle him

My skink will wee/poo every time I handle him

Hi guys!
So, my skink will be 1 year old in July! But I’ve only had him since February!
Every time I get him out, we will wee/poo!
How can I get him to stop? / is this common?
I just want to be able to have a lil cuddle but he can’t be trusted :lol:
Any advise? :noknow:

He is a northern bluey named huff<3

Semi common. I was just peed on yesterday by one of my skinks in fact. One of my skinks did it habitually and stopped as she got older. Sometimes the behavior goes away as the skink gets less defensive with increased handling.

Just remember, there's two types of people. Those that have been peed on by their reptiles and then others that have never owned one. Don't let anybody tell you differently.

Sound like Psychological warfare to me...do the skinks look at you and smile after they do it? :P :)
