water dish cleaning
My new blue tongue skink pooped inside of his water dish today so i cleaned it out with soap water and alcohol but it still smells like the poop is this the proper way to clean it i dont want my new friend to get sick so i just want to make sure.

I usually just use dawn dish soap and water and then rinse very thoroughly. I would maybe just wash again?

Maybe let it soak for a little bit in hot, soapy water. If that doesn't help, maybe cleaning with vinegar will get rid of the smell. Rinse well, of course.
