I haven't seen her at all today. I'm assuming she's just burrowed deep into the substrate, but I did a light sifting and couldn't find her. She hasn't come out to bask either. I just put some food in to see if she'll come out but she hasn't yet.

Update: I left her food in there for about an hour and a half and she never came up. I still haven’t seen her and I’m a little worried.

No she is not brumating. Typical behavior, especially if in a shed. Give her a few days and then check back in and take this time to make sure your temperatures are appropriate.

One day should not be of concern and is very typical. My little guy is as healthy as can be and does weird stuff. He has been through phases were for weeks he explores like crazy, tries to climb walls, overturns water bowl, and is super social. Other times he will go weeks with barely poking his head out. BTS are just very unique creatures. I wouldn't be concerned.

There are times I don't see them for a week. Absolutely no reason for concern at all, as previously stated.

Thanks guys! Yeah I had found her later that evening. I’m glad that it’s a pretty normal thing and not something to worry about.
