FYI: The vast majority of the world does use the metric system, and I would think it's for good reason.

Oh, yeah, and 1 inch = 2.54 cm

ahh zach i think she may be talking about the tank not the skink, or that is one serious skink...
you could be right edward i think the rest of the world may be onto something with the metric system..
everything is made up in lots of ten or 100 or 1000..
not crazy stuff like 12 inches to a foot and 3 feet to a yard and 22 yard in a chain, is it 18 chains in a furlong and 4 furlongs to a mile, i just lose it after a bit..
or fractions for anything to small..
pounds and ounces are just as bad, 16 ounces in a pound..
i dont understand why you guys dont jump on board with the new way of thinking..
cheers

Yeah I tend to like metric, it makes more sense.

The thing is that Americans tend to use both and it gets really confusing for some people. Like our 2 litre bottles. Pick a system ya know?? If we are going to use standard then it should be a 2 quart bottle. (ish)

The scientific community always uses metric...so it must be right!!!! :clap2:

Someone here in the good old USA needs to decide!!
WHY do our news channels report more about Britney Spears hair cut than about this?

Zach did you think I was talking about the lizard :? ? I was talking about the tank. And I don't know inches so it's not my fault if I got it wrong! Edward, could you please tell me how many inches that is?
