Some CBB Merauke goodness
Hi all, on Feb 14th my Merauke girl Dio gave birth to 7 beautiful babies. I've been very busy in the past couple of weeks, but have finally found some time to share some photos. I'm proud to say these are captive born and bred babies, their father is from Sue's amazing high orange Meraukes, and mother is my high red girl Dio, who's personality is second to none.
If anyone is interested in more info from this litter have a look at my previous post, it includes Dio's lock dates and weigh-ins from first lock up to birthing.

Re: Some CBB Merauke goodness
Thanks everyone! I'm really excited to see how these babies develop.
Im going to try and make a better lighting setup for photos, I was shooting in some very low light and some of the colours look burnt out on certain monitors or phones (not that that can be avoided completely). Ill see if I can find time this weekend. Id like to add some photos of the 2015 baby I have at home (deep in shed right now) from the same parents.

Thanks guys! A few of them are in the blue now so should have some post first shed updates pretty soon.
I'm happy to report that my sickly little one (number 7) is now eating on his own and has already gained back alot of weight, he's just laging behind in size now.

Thanks! There are about three of them shed out now, plus their older sibling from 2015. I keep hoping to get a sunny day and actually get some good lighting outside for photos. Mom is also half way through a shed, and the rest of the babes look like they are due to slough any time now. Ill try to update with some photos soon.

I can't wait! I hope some sunny weather hits you soon. It's cold and cloudy up here so it would be nice to have some colorful baby BT pictures to brighten things up!

I didn't get the sunshine I was hoping for this weekend, so here are some indoor phone pics of a few of the babies all shed out. I'm really very happy with thier colour.

Very nice, it will be interesting to see how they develop.

Thanks, I'm excited to see how they develop too. I wish I could keep them all to see how they end up. I'm already unsure which to let go of and which to keep.

it turns our two of them haven't shed yet, they had me convinced until their bellies turned white. Some more pics to come in a couple days.

My gosh they are precious! Momma is gorgeous too. Definitely keep us updated with photos!
I am curious as to what they are eating in the recent photos. Do you have any issues with loose stools because it's so liquified?

I was wrong, they are all just starting their second sheds... I swear they all just finished their first, its baffling to me how quickly they are growing...

Thank you! Momma doesnt get enough credit for how gorgeous she is.
The babies have been eating a brand of dog food called Essential Nutrience. I really like it, it has whole peas and carrot chunks, and actual shredded meat. But the chunks are too big for the babies so I blend it first. I havent had any issues with loose stool, all of their droppings have looked very healthy.
