Here is one that I bred but sold a year or so ago. Interesting neck pattern and parietals.

Re: Post photos of your bluey
Here is a gnarly battlehorse male who was only a couple of years old but wanted to fight with anything that moved. Not surprisingly he went to live on a farm. Someone from this list - that is.
His colours would move across the seaon dramatically from orangish early in the season to bright pink by about February. It is a good demonstration of how scaring in these blueys takes on the pigments. BTW the scaring looks worse than it is, generally just scrapes on the delicated skin on the scutes but leaves an old battle horse look.
I think I had my first batch of Alpines in 2009 - missed the first year because of an out of sinc male that I acquired that year. I used to breed lowlands as a kid and Easterns. But just about fell over in my own drool when I saw Colin Hamilton's Alpines for the first time.
Only 17 babies this year - my fault for trying to use one male but looking forward to seeing how they come out - I wish I could keep more of them.

Re: Post photos of your bluey
Next years breeding program
This is Roger the breeder - feel free to internalise nicknames :-) He is only 2 but his colours are developing well. In fact these photos just taken with an older iphone in my toilet room - no trick photography here.
The amazing thing about this one is the orange all the way to the tip of the tail. Some have had this to some degree but nothing like this guy. In fact I haven't seen this degree of orange to the tip of the tail in any other Alpine. His brother is George who I have posted photos of before - he is insanely orange (much more than Roger) but not to the tip of the tail like this. mmm
Anyway here he is.

Scott, why do i get the feeling that you have hoarded 2/3's of the Alpine Blotchie supply in Australia.

Re: Post photos of your bluey
Im not quite sure how many I have. haha
ps it is actually Roger in my profile pic, his parietals have intensified since the profile photo was taken. Funny thing about mine is that they keep changing as they get older.
