Hello
I am new in the forum and in the skink keeping. Just got 1.1 Egernia depressa CB2011. Here a picture from the female. Does she look pregnant?
Regards,
Michel

Re: Gravid E. depressa?
Hi Michel. I would say she looks gravid yes. She is nice and chunky, but is carrying the weight just in front of the back legs which looks like a very good sign to me...

Re: Gravid E. depressa?
I find it hardish to tell from looks at times with spiney tail egernias, some do bloat but some equally dont appear any different, mind u ive never kept depressa as there not on keepers schedule in my state
With my hosmers skink i actually easily saw laboured breathing, thought i may have seen it in gidgee skink to but not sure it was, wasnt obvious like in my hosmers female anyways
They can hide gravidity really well and suprise you with litters as well when you least expect it
Nice looking depressas and welcome to bts.net

Re: Gravid E. depressa?
Let us know if she ends up being gravid! I'd love to have a group of them. Such gorgeous and interesting looking skinks.
