Helios is a boy!

Postby StaceyLeigh » Thu Feb 27, 2014 1:07 pm

Found a sperm plug in Helios tank this afternoon :ohyes: I was very much hoping he was truly a male to pair with Ember in the future, so next year- 2015 he will get his chance. Definitely explains his decreased appetite and roaming his tank like a crazy man, Here is a cute pic of him, and one that shows his colors.

Oh the things us skink lovers get excited about. I got all sorts of excited when Chewy showed me his "stuff." Imagine explaining your excitement to someone who was not into reptiles. They would be so grossed out. Congrats on confirming him as male. He is a very good looking stud. :ohyes:

Oh no! If you breed Helios and Ember, I might have to get another Northern! Ember is my favorite.

I did breed Ember this season to Thor- hoping for some pretty peachy/yellow babies in May.
