Sick Blue tongue! Please help!

These are the two toes concerning me. Upon this mornings inspection he has also lost a nail on his other toe? What is happening? Is there anything that has caused this before does anyone know? A calcium deficiency? He's never had this bad of problems.

There is some medical issues that can cause this,mostly, at least in my experience it is usually skin that is constricting blood flow, or nipping by other skinks ( not in your case tho).
Sucks for the vet, i had a siilar experience with a vet before, the best thing is to just find a new one.

As for the shedding, it sounds like your doing all you can in terms of tank humidity, keep giving warm baths with a little olive or mineral oil. I know for snakes i sometimes put an old pillowcase in warm water then wring it out then place your reptile in it over the heat pad to increase humidity, when they move around it can help take some skin off, just be sure to keep an eye on him.

Went to a different vet today. He will loose one of his toes in the next two days, they gave me silver sulfadiazine cream for where he lost the toe and recommended putting it on the other toes as well as bathing him. Anyone heard of the cream?

Yes,the cream will help prevent infection,sounds like a better vet

The last few pics don't look too bad, I would say yes providing you eliminate the constricting skin and prevent future constriction, just a suggestion but I would put him on paper towel just so it would be easier to prevent infection

And for the pillow case, tie a not in the end and twist a bit so when the reptile tries to crawl out the twisting makes it tighter so more skin comes off

Those kind of toe issues happen quite frequently - the best thing you can do is make sure the humidity is high enough and give them lots of hard surfaces to rub shed off on. I see this usually in skinks kept on lots of fluffy aspen with nothing to pull shed off of, carpet or papertowel - especially in small enclosures with not much to climb on. If you can add in rocks, drift wood etc it should help.

I've never seen this lead to infection, just keep it clean and it should be fine. I wouldn't worry about paper towel or anything.

Roarschak has recovered immensely! The creme not only helped heal the removed toe, but it loosened the skin on his other toes so that I could remove it! He is doing much better and is eating more as well. I think the pain in his toes was distracting him from food? Thankyou everyone for your response and help! I've learned a lot from this sad experience!

I do the same as Birdbrain, brad. Let the skink do the work with pulling and just use a light pressure with your finger nails.
