Thats the smaller of mullet trio,biggest is 66 cm long

First time ive bought easterns indoors to try,i think blotchies hold them back a bit outdoors

Not the biggest of easterns,though the mullets are solid buggers,darkest mullet is 66 cm long,lighter one 57 cm,easterns still have sone growing to do

Of all my Eastern girls, this one is looks to be the most progressed in her pregnancy. She was mated once with each of her three brothers on the 25.7 , 26.7 and 28.7.13
She sloughed yesterday and will be 3 years old this xmas.



She has been kept indoors for the last 18months, I grew her and her brothers up (from newborn) outside for the first 12 months, just for something different.

Shes a nice looking lass rory,noticed a bit of scuffing on a couple of mine today,havnt noticed much though except sperm plugs and a little tension when they move close to one another

That eastern in the picture is getting close now. Last night she was very cranky, she gave me a full on , length of the cage charge with mouth open aimed at my hand. Females and hormones......geez.

Just witnessed first attempt with mu easterns,i thought i had 2 pairs indoors but a young male keeps biting head of what i thought was young female,so 3 males and a female,oops,only small males had a crack,hasnt managed to secure her yet,there pretty late this season to,should be done and dusted by now
