excuse the enthusiasm,i got 4 new rugosa asperas last march,none had shed up until the very young one today,ive been looking forward to seeing how they look after a shed,especially the adult male i got with this youngster,but also the larger form pair

will post pics as they shed,first one is the lil tyke

in one pic it looks light one one side,thats sun reflectance,the darker side is the accurate representation of its color

Look great Richard! I have found that my rugosa, which are kept together in a group, tend to shed at the same time. Usually not all 4, but 2-3 always seem to shed in the same week. Have you seen that with yours?

havnt paid attention to that jeff,but at times some will shed close to cage mates,from memory though mostly scew iffed but once one goes the others can be expected to any time,i dont notice any older ones shedding more over a season

in the old cage i used to find multiple sheds,last 12 months in new cages,not so much,mind u i used to have 11 of them in old cage

and young females living together are pretty bad at that to

I don't keep my skinks together, yet, but Jeff, I have noticed all my skinks shed within the same week for some reason. It is about every 2-3 months.. I find it very odd. Glad to hear someone else has experienced it as well.

been out all day,just got home ,went out to turn lights out and noticed male i had been looking forward to shedding has shed,interestinglu he doesnt appear to have the yellow banding i swore he had when i got him

few pics of male freshly shed with a cameo from young female in a couple of pics,hes not as banded as i thought,jis yellow is alot paler than the young female and the other pair by the looks of it,he was cold and you xan see in one pic he wasnt overly impressed with photo shoot,lol
