Weird toe

Hey guys I've been wondering about Roy's toe since I got him. I've fixed humidity and everything but it's still wonky. Below are some pics, what do you think I up? Did he break it or something before I got him? It's always been like this. It doesn't seem to bother him, or affect how he walks. He is also missing a toe on his front foot, could these be related? Here are te pics:

The first pic looks like multiple stuck layers of shed. A small amount of olive oil, some warm water, and a q-tip should help you in removing it, but it looks like it's stuck there pretty good. The missing toe is likely a result of stuck shed as well, but there are multiple reasons as to why a toe could be missing. Just keep the stump clean to prevent infections, although it looks like there is no open wound anymore.

probably scale residue from previous shed. try to remove it if possible.

You also need to trim the nails. See how the toe curls to one side as it presses to the floor? It might be worth a short trip to the vet to help you trim the nails and help secure him while any stuck shed is removed. The toe itself is inflamed and swollen, so your vet may prescribe antibiotics also, but I'm just going by the look of the second photo, which is a little burry, so I might be overreacting.

Could you take another photo of the toe, from the angle of the second photo, from a few paces back, then crop the image so we can see the toe more clearly? Unless you have a macro setting to take a clearer close up

Thanks guys. I have trimmed his nails now, and I will take some more pics with my camera. Sorry those were just with my phone. I will post them hopefully late tonight!
