kimberley northern 2013 season has begun

Postby Richard.C » Tue Jul 16, 2013 8:12 pm

last week or so i have been putting prince regent female in with 18 month old kunnanurra male plus another older young male,as the week progressed they have shown a bit of interest but today at 12pm,its the 17th of july here the 18 month old male kunnanurra successfuly copulated her, which is great as hes whom i wanted to use for her

havnt tried older ones yet, still need to bring them home, lol, but usually they start a week later due to a slightly different cycling to these younger ones, younger ones still in raise up cages so warmer

got pics but waiting on new fone as ive changed companies,so will add pics in a couple of days

Internet rules Richard!!!! Pics or it didn't happen!

While we wait for your pictures/video, you got me thinking about trying a few of mine this afternoon.

I couldn't raise any action out of the NT Northerns but 3 pairs of Kimberleys did the horizontal folk dance :)

very nice rory,

love seeing pics of yours so feel free to post in here

4th pic down the female looks alot like a couple of my 18 month old holdbacks,is she from joe

i got a 4th mating out of the prince regent lass this evening,4 matings in 2 days, with 2nd matings being 7 and 9 hours after the first, tried 5 hours after but rejection, lol, males must need a decent recovery

will have to go pick up big kunnanurras which are still at folks, been meaning to for last 3 years, lol, used to do split shifts down that way so tended to them on my break

No, she is totally unrelated.

Male 1. Is a prince regent( from a well known melbourne breeder) and he is paired with a Kimberley from joe.

Male 2. Is from joe, with the unrelated female.

Male 3. Is also from joe and again with a unrelated female.

That particular pairing bred last year for the first time, there was only 3 in the litter. She is a little heavier this season, so who knows.

Where's your pictures?

All beautiful animals Rory, but I really love the 2nd male. He just looks so "Kimberly". I hoping you get heaps of bubs.

Also, I'm fairly sure that we haven't seen pictures from Richard because he's making the whole thing up. :noknow:

Had some tail wagging from the centralians when I put them together tonight as well. Would be nice if they would mate on command like the Northerns. :)
