I got the skink :) Picked him up today, I had only seen pictures of him since his owners lived pretty far away from where I live.

I don't think he's in great shape. He's a little skinny, he's shedding and it kinda looks like some old shed too. He's tail is missing an inch or so cause he lived for 3 years with a bearded dragon and one day they fought. Sigh.. Think that might be why they sold him. He's a little stressed out right now, but he seems like a very curious little fellow, at least he's not afraid of the camera

He seemed really hungry when we got home, trying to take a bite of EVERYTHING so I got him some food. Buddy (my other one) is a fat little skink who loooves food, but I've never seen anyone eat like this one. It was a mess! He even tried to eat the plate several times. I'll get some better pictures when he's settled in.

Congrats on the skink Buddy! :D

he looks like a real sweetheart skink!
nice way to stuff as much food in his mouth as possible with only one bite  '

sad to hear about him being kept with the beardie though, but i suspect he will get over that trauma pretty well now that hes in a better home.

are you still going to the tropical expo in the south?

Thanks :) He seems to be settling in quite well but a little skittish.

Are you talking about "Expo syd" in august? Or the tropical expo in Malmö next saturday?
I'm going to expo syd, haven't decided on next saturday yet :)
