My skink ran through a freshly laid...um...waste. I tried soaking him in the sink, but he still smells. Does anyone know of a skink-friendly soap to clean him off? Will Dawn work?

aah, it happens it happens 
just give him another water soak and wipe him off. he might not smell like strawberries, but the worst will go away. dont forget to wash your hands.

Yes, as linnea says, it happens. I don't know what dawn is, but any low residue, fragrance free wash will be ok, as long as you rinse well afterwards. Baby shampoos or baby washes are mild enough not to irritate and won't rid your skink of his natural oils either.
I wouldn't fret too much over it though ... he'll probably reward the wash with another trip through the poop as soon as he's nice and spotless.
