Taming
So, I have had Smudge for six days now. He still has not eaten or basked he has mostly just hid, but I was wondering when I should begin handling him and taking him out. He is VERY tame and lazy so it's not really taming him that's the problem it's getting him used being taken out. I should add that he has been poking around his enclosure today. Also, is changing the substrate going to make me have to start the adjusting process all over again?

Sounds like hes just settling in to new home and surrounds,what are your temps,basking spot,ambients at warm end and cool end ect

Every critter is different with how long it takes to settle in. I wouldnt worry about it

You're the one living with him... we can't answer that! You probably can but just let him set the pace. If he is very scared or stressed then put him back and keep it short and sweet. But go by his reactions and his level of comfort - we can't tell you what to do because no two blueys are the same.
