my blueys :)

Postby taniya91 » Fri Dec 21, 2012 7:33 pm

was bored so i figured id make a thread of pictures of my blueys
i have 2 caramel northerns: skully and crackerjack
and an IJ: Bones
i took a picture of them all together (with strickt supervision) and skully decided she didnt want to participate (always one that ruins the Xmas picture lol) and walked away haha...thats the first pic i uploaded and then after that there are pics of skully wondering around my bed trying to find a comfy spot then some of crackerjack basically doing the same thing but checking out my laptop haha and then some of bones :D

cheeto and bones get along surprisingly well...i know people would probably have a heart attack knowing i let them "play" together but honestly cheeto is the biggest whimp in the world...when they first met i was more worried about her hurting him! haha

they like to lay in my bed together

one day cheeto did get in trouble though because ...well bones was in fact being a butthead...but he smacked her

she tunnelled under the covers were cheeto had fallen asleep and popped her head up right in front of his face...he jumped like 6ft up almost off the bed and when he landed he smacked her right in the head (claws in of course)

i picked her up real quick and said "no cheeto, no hitting" while still laughing at her scaring him and he came over and licked her

he was quite funny actually

i think bones enjoyed it more than myself...now every time she see cheeto walk in my room she runs over to the side of her cage to see him, she even follows him back in forth haha and she doesnt huff or anything like she is upset she actually looks intrigued by the odd funny creature on 4 legs that likes to cuddle with her and keep her warm

i know most people are pretty put off by that matter, but one of my cats is trustworthy to the point i allow my skinks to sleep on top of him, only with me gawking at them right next to them of course though lol. But if a skink moves around near him or runs towards him, he bolts terrified of the lizard haha

Our cats don't like the skinks, especially when they're hissing. They're afraid of our rabbits as well for that matter. Really love those pics!

today is so hot that ive let the skinks roam the lounge after skink proofing it. one is fascinated with my cats tail and chases him around. i bet he would chomp on that tail if given the opportunity. I wouldnt let my other cat near them though, he seems too "interested" in them for me to be ok with it

Beautiful animals! I love the contrast of the caramels vs the IJ / cat combo! :D

I think your cat and skink are related. Their colors and stripe patterns are too close for coincidence.

haha ive been considering relation between bones and bandit for some time now...maybe thats why they try to spend so much time together...he is currently sleeping up against her cage and she's doing the same but from the inside haha
they are a weird pair i can give them that much

i can say though im more uncomfortable with any of my skinks being together than i am with bandit and bones being together the top picture was a less then 10 second thing and i mainly did it because i wanted a picture showing their massive differences and a skink "family" photo lol but i sure did snatch them (crackerjack and skully, i let bones stay on the bed for a few moments to cuddle in the blankies and put CJ and skully away) up fast after i took the picture
