Edible plants
Are there any edible plants that are strong enough not to be trampled by a bts? I'd like to put something live in Cal's cage and if she can munch on it that's even better. But I don't want the thing getting destroyed the first time she goes over to investigate it.

blueys can trample anything when theyre in the mood! 
so no, not really. some days they may leave them alone, but then they decide that climbing through them 10 times is fun. and at some point it might be fun to dig UNDER them.
you can of course try to plant edible plants and see what happens. just make sure they wont mold or the like.

Yea I agree lol. I feel like any plants would be ruined pretty fast by climbing on or under them. My skink loves to rearrange and climb under everything in his cage, even his food and water dishes.

Live plants in indoor enclosure tend to produce too much humidity, but also carry a high risk of introducing and/or fueling fungal and bacterial growth. Unless you have a large and well ventilated cage, I'd stick to the fake ones.
There are plenty of edible plants around, though. You could think of growing them separately to your enclosure and then using them, on occasion, to feed your blue tongue.
