Apollo does that a bit when he's "remodeling" his tank. Spyro is prob too small to move things though so I'm not sure?

they can do that for a number of reasons,eg often after eating,more so face area,when they have mite irratation,or just an itch,some just like plain rubbing up against things,possably a scent marking trait

very interesting! i wish i knew for sure.. he doesn't do it all day long, but he will occasionally throughout the day come up to a light weight plant or a log and just rub his body on it like a cat lol. i'm just very confused.

Maybe he is itchy? He may also be getting ready to shed but not quite there yet. Or he might just be weird. They are like that some times.
