I may have been looking at my adults too much and forgetting how they looked when young.
These pics are of wild Blue Mountains blotchies from a couple of years ago. They were only an hour or two old at the time of the pics.

they look quite yellow in the face norm,even as juvies,mine arent as deep ,they do seem to have a pale flush up there sides as juvies,but it goes yellow as they grow,your guys seem very yellow,even there backs compared to mine,ive always loved the look of your lot,they seem to be a more yellow and black variety,or do they also get the orangey red to pink blotching to as adults

Went through my pics and found these from 2009. They were about 7 months old at the time.
They are wild ones from the backyard.
