Im not sure, they look cross bred to me, but im not good at IDing by any means....so I could be wrong, they almost look northernxIJ or something I just dont know. Am very curious to see what others say. Thanks for input though

What makes you say Northern, ML? I really only see IJ.

I'd cautiously agree with ML. The black lines alone the side and the scincoides-esq sides make me think it's a crossbreed. I'll note that I suck at IDing scincoides tho.

It looks almost IJ, but not quite. I do see some hints of Northern there. Whatever it is, I wouldn't call it a pure specimen.

Rather than just say what you think, try to explain why. That will be more helpful.
The scincoides I see is the white flecking and body shape a bit. But to me this looks more like the old-school IJ, kind of like a couple of Zach's. I don't see evidence of portholes or anything.

The black striping going down the length of the side is what threw me, and is why i thought it was interesting and wasnt sure what it was. I just havent seen that dark of a stripe going along the sides and then the lighter striping going across, like that on an IJ, but I by far havent seen alot so lol. Interesting to hear what people think, thanks for the opinions.

I keep getting hung up on that wide black stripe down the side too. Seems to be a Northern trait.

I feel this is an IJxNorthern mix. Here is a picture of one I had that came from a NorthernxIJ breeding.

Re: Hey can anyone ID this from this ad Im really curious...
theres another thread on here showing 2 litters of supposed northerns,1 is a litter of northerns, parents are both northern, the same male mate an ij and its babies look ij
prob with cross bred bubs is they can vary highly, some u can see the cross easily, others dont look crossed at all,the original pic on this thread could be either way,the dark stripe is odd, reminds me of those patternless crosses, but ive seen pics of ij that look similar, minus the black stripe down there flanks
