Pictures please
If anyone wouldn't mind posting some pictures of what they consider to be the best of the best representations of each species, I would be much obliged. I guess what I am saying is some really smoking animals of each species. I think I am leaning more towards the Northerns, but if someone can change my mind, well...
On a side note, please no centrillians. I really love the looks of those guys, but chances are there is no real way to get my hands on them. It really sucks cause they are beautiful. Thank you.

Re: Pictures please
I only have Northerns and Meraukes, so not much choice. Of the two, I slightly prefer Meraukes, but that it totally personal preference. There are stunning examples of all species, it really depends on what you like.
Probably my favorite (of the ones I have) Merauke:
Or
And favorite Northern (again, of mine):

Re: Pictures please
James Wilson put up pictures of various gigas species a while ago. Some of these are probably as hard, if not harder, to find compared to a centralian, but it shows you what's out there.

Re: Pictures please
I would support going with a northern 100%. I think they are the perfect first BTS. Meraukes are absolutely awesome too, but 99% of them are WC, so I would still give northerns the edge. Also, here is a little info that might be helpful in your decision:
BTS average prices in the U.S.
Irian Jaya - $130
Indonesian - $130
Merauke - $130
Northern - $130
Eastern - $200
Tanimbar - $200
Kei Island - $250
Blotched - $1500
Shingleback - $3000
Centrilian - $3500
Western - $3500

Re: Pictures please
Can we please clear this up. Tiliqua.multifasciata are NOT centrilians or centrillians, they are C e n t r A l i a n s.
The name is derived from the part of Australia called Central Australia i.e Centralia-n.

Re: Pictures please
The ironic thing is that it is because I am concentrating so hard on not putting two "L"'s in centralian, that I frequently lose track of the rest of it.
