The last two days I noticed Pica sleeping a lot out in the open, which he normally never does. Last time I fed him, was three days ago, he ate all without problems. When I just took him out, I noticed his right eye was a bit swollen, turned inwards but without icky stuff on the eyelids. Also his legs seem swollen, and the mucus of his mouth seems light to me. I am about to call the vet for an appointment, but I'd like your oppinion as well...
edit: I can see the vet on thursday...hope all goes well untill then...

The eye issue is definitely cause for concern, but I don't see anything unusual about the mouth and legs. If I were in your predicament (having to wait two days to get to the vet), I think I'd turn the heat up a bit more. That is what's recommended when they are fighting infections. I have no idea if this is an infection or not, but I don't see the harm in turning the heat up and *if* it is an infection hopefully it'll help.

I do have a night heater, but should I leave the lights on at night as well? He is still alert to the things around him, but I think his behaviour is otherwise a bit off... I'm so worried right now.

Just came home from the vet. His eye is infected, and I have a salve for it. Other than that the vet said he looked great! He has to be all well in about a week or so. If not I can get some antibiotics.

Interesting picture of the eye. Seems like there have been a couple skinks with odd eye problems lately. Glad the vet seems good and has a plan to treat it, good luck!
