My Northern BTS

Postby RosiePosie06 » Thu Jan 19, 2012 9:51 pm

Meet Irwin, named after the late Steve Irwin. I was determined that my new lizard had a name that was meaningful me<3

This one got cut off, But at least you can see his pretty stripes.

Thank you guys! :D I got him at the LA Reptile Super Show from a very busy man selling tiny geckos, a northern (Irwin!) and a New Quinea blue tongue skink (so I was told).

I love all your approving responses:) I'm getting sick of showing the pictures and getting the "Ewww!" Response. And I'll get a better picture of his coloring soon! That one is a bit screwed up by my overhead light.

Lovely skink! How are you going with your set up etc? Are you managing alright with the diet etc? There is a lovely care sheet on here, along with a newly updated food chart, too.

We're doing great with the setup, but still working on getting more veggies in his diet. He tends to turn up his nose at them. The care sheet and food chart have been my Bible since even before I got him! Thanks:)
