My first Skink

Postby Fernando » Mon Jan 09, 2012 6:13 pm

Hello. This is 'Mojo'. I asked my son what he'd like to name him and after he finished eating Shakey's Pizza, he conveniently named him the first thing that came to mind.

These photos we're taken by my Google/Samsung Galaxy Nexus Android phone. :ohyes:

I was going to say the same thing on both points. That cell phone does a great job!

Thanks guys

@Jeff Doug from Deer Fern Farms had 5 and 1 was sold before the show even started. I put a deposit and Sunday Morning I got the little fella. He was the only guy that had them. He said it was a late clutch 8 weeks old.

Great new addition!

OT but how was the show anyway? Specifically the selection of unusual snakes, geckos, and skinks? I was considering going.

I'm not a big snake person. I'm a tortoise guy myself. But there were tons of snakes and geckos and lizards. There were very few skinks.

I didn't get a chance to roam around much as I had a table of my own that I was hosting. It was the biggest show they ever had.
