I kept a tomato, eggplant, pepper, and squash in a plastic in the bag for quite a while.
Note: These were "baby" veggies, so they wouldn't last a full-sized skink as long as Tea Cup. Not sure how long it would take for regular sized veggies to go bad.

*eggplant is not recommended food

i was surprised when it was mentioned since its something i also could get, but when i checked the caresheet it said it might be toxic.

you can buy a small indoor glasshouse ( or make one out of a terrarium) and keep tomatoes, salad and stuff like than in it. its kinda fun to use the extra reptile items for growing veggies in perfect conditions x)

Catfood - Dogfood
Dogfood - Catfood

And you can grow your own veggies. That would be a fun little project.

 Oh gosh, I had no idea. Well, Tea cup seems to be OK.... Thank you for telling me! I check the sheet almost every time I switch up her food... I must've missed it! I'll keep an eye on her.

Another note, I grow my own chard and kale, as well as tomatoes and some other veggies.

i think peas are okay. its a bit on the sweet side though. same with corn.
but it should mix well in to a meal......

well.....you can try aragula salad, its a bit bitter but rather nutricious for a salad. my skink dislikes it so it has to be good..... 8) (but i love to eat it so i buy it anyway)
not so expensive to buy here, you can even buy other mixes of salads. keep them well in their package and they will be okay for 1,5 weeks, just watch out for spinach and lettuce.

I wouldn't worry about feeding a certain diet - if you are trying to eat healthy as well then just add in lots of greens / veggies that you have on hand. Use some, like tomatoes, carrots, corn sparingly and healthy stuff like squashes, arugula, endive, collards etc in greater quantities and more often.

The only things I'd avoid completely are onions / onion family, rhubarb and avocados. Otherwise, feed it either sparingly / rarely or else often.

Things like collards and squashes last well in the fridge for a long time. Collards, dandelion, arugula or endive all would be good choices for feeding often. I leave a couple dandelion plants in my garden all summer because they are such healthy greens. If you want to feed frozen, frozen green beans are a very healthy choice. :D
