Intro-ing me and my IJ!

Postby herpster » Tue Oct 11, 2011 4:30 pm

Hi everyone!

I'm Karly and I'm new to the the forum and BTS ownership, but not reptiles or this site :)
I curretly only own Ozzie, my IJ, and Norman, my bearded dragon.
I strayed away from my dragon loyalty and decided for a BTS because of their amazing appearance and layed back attitude, and have so far not been dissapointed :)

I got Ozzie right here on BTS.Net from Zach and Holly, he's the 2011 clutch of Nona aand Sassy.

Anywho, I hope to get to know some of you and share this wonderful world of BTS :)

Here are my boys,

You would not regret it, they are by far my favorite reptile....better not say that too loud on this forum though

Thanks everybody! They're the most handsom reptiles I know..though I might be a little biased

Beautiful little IJ! Great name too. And the beardie ain't bad either.

How did you go about getting him from the US? I've got many of mine from the USA, but I'm always interested in hearing other ways of import/export :)

Hi Fatal S,

First I talked to border crossing people and with their okay, I had Zach and Holly ship him to my father's work mail address on the other side of border (in the US) and then went over first thing in the morning and waited then declared him at the crossing, payed $17 tax and brought him over. Imprting reptiles(as pets) into Canada is totally legal so I didn't need any permits or to pay extra fees, I just brought proof of purchase and they let me through.
My boys are what I live for.

Hi Fatal S,

Since importings reptiles, as pets, to Canada is legal I didnt need any permits/pay any fees. I let the border crossing now I would be bring across a live animal and they OK'ed me, so I had Zach and Holly ship him out and waited for him at my dad's work postbox and then drove him over, and declared him of course.
