Everybody just shed

Postby reaperreptiles » Wed Aug 17, 2011 12:24 pm

So beetlejuice shed out today, she weighs 139 grams. (lost my tape measure) this is her 4th shed with me, fifth shed in her lifetime. shes getting huge and has such a little attitude, will be moving her from her 20 gallon to her own tub as soon as I get rid of the chameleons (hopefully this week). so ill have to show off her new enclosure once its done. toby also shed today, her colors after this shed have lightened up alot. she now has pink sides and her light brown is starting to turn caramel, as well as her tail which is becoming more speckled and more orange. she now weighs in at 854 grams, and measuring in at almost 22 inches. very excited about her sudden color change  well heres the pics.

They are beautiful skinks. Beetlejuice has some delicious sunshine colours there. They look nice and well fed, too, just right, by the looks of these pictures. Both good and round, so keep to your routine, but consider cutting back a meal, or your portion sizes for Toby, (not necessarily for baby Beetlejuice just yet, since he's still in a good growing phase)- they don't really want to be expanding sideways too much more than this!

Thank you for sharing.
