We seem to be getting scratched up pretty good anymore. Can any of you experienced keepers tell me if these look like they need to be clipped? Thanks!
Nail clipping time?

I probably wouldn't cut them just yet. Do you have something in the cage that helps wear down his nails? Like a rock or something.

I've been planning on asking this for awhile just never got around to it.
For the skinks that don't have crazy long claws but just needle sharp tips that don't seem to wear away enough would it hurt to lightly dull them with some ultra fine grit sand paper.
Quigly has very tiny claws that don't need clipping but are sharp enough that even just walking on you can scratch deep enough to hurt and occasionally drawa tiny bit of blood.

Either that, or you could make "skink mittens"!
If the nails are scratching you, this is a very good idea. Otherwise, the nails are fine. Any longer though, they will start to need attention.
