BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

I'm looking to buy a BTS, preferably a Northern but I'm considering more options. I live in Chicago, Illinois so something within driving distance or available for shipping would be ideal. I've been on the look out at some local reptile expos and breeders and none seem to have any for sale- yes i'm aware the best time to look for Bluey's is during summer, but i've been searching for quite a while. Any help or offers would be appreciated. Thank you so much!

I will have some Northerns by the end of June, hopefully. But I purchased one (Merauke) a few months back that was advertised on www.faunaclassifieds.com or even www.kingsnake.com should have some.
They have a sections for Skinks.... If you have to have one now and are willing to pay for it.
When there are lots on the market you may be able to get the same animal cheaper, or one that is newborn rather than a yearling.

If you have a Facebook account, I think a great option would be to join the groups Blue Tongue Skink Enthusiasts, Blue Tongue Skink Hobbyists, and Blue Tongue Skink addicts groups. Many reputable breeders post their babies for sale in these groups. I personally bought my baby last breeding season from Kara Orosco from KO Exotics from the enthusiasts group! Most will ship to you as well.
