Page Format

Does anyone know why, when I view a thread that I have either posted, or replied to, the size of my page is so wide that I have a bottom scroll bar available to read the typing that extends far to the right. If I'm reading a thread that I'm not posted in, the words are wrapped to whatever size I have my window set to?

Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be an IE setting?

I noticed this on several different threads....only thing I notice it is when the left side of the page where the avatar is, it is wider then normal and that throws off the whole page format.

I use Firefox, and I only notice page widths getting larger when a picture is posted that is wider than the regular setting.. then it just makes a left/right scroll bar to accommodate.

No, not on this thread, but russman may have something. Where I have noticed it, come to think of it, is where I have posted a larger than usual picture through photobucket. I'm going to start sizing them down more to see if there is a difference.

Thank you russman! That did it. I resized the pic in my post "Growth Rate...." and the writing is now in line with the page size.

Yep, I was going to say the pictures do it if they're huge. If you post pictures using our upload feature, it will automatically resize them so it doesn't do it.

Also, if you have your resolution at a huge setting, or your text set enormously....it can also do it.
