I never feed my bluey peas (I usually give him a mix of romanie lettuce and squash), when you feed your BTS pea do you feed them JUST the bean in to pod (cut smaller), or can you chop up the pod and give him that too?

I just toss all veggies raw into a food processer and chop it up - pod and all. Check out the food chart on the caresheet for other food ideas and be sure to feed a variety - while squash is a good choice lettuce is only good for water and they need a variety of all the food groups (meat, greens, veggies and fruits).

Just grind it all up, Kelly style

I had to look those up - never heard of them, but I think the same would apply. Basically the only thing I worry about with fruits and veggies is seeds/pits.

All I know is beans and peas are pretty good foods in general. Rollie digs a whole pod of snow peas once in a while. I think the little bit of sugars in them really perk him up.
