OT Snake Pics!! *DUW*

Postby worldcupkeeper » Thu May 31, 2007 1:08 pm

Its been a while since ive been on here, mainly due to SO MUCH crazy "stuff" going on around here. My main focus are Ball pythons and Andean Milksnakes but I still have my northern girl. No recent pics though. So here are a few pics of some of the snakes. Now that everything has seemed "knock on wood" to calm down, I hope to spend more time here.

Some of my Balls

10 eggs, unfortunately all but 2 eggs made it the full incubation time, and the 2 that did, didnt make it out of the eggs alive.

Those are some pretty sweet snakes, but shouldn't this go in off-topic? Is the red one a milksnake?

Don't you mean red to black, flat on back? :hehe:

I used to get that mixed up and found a milk snake by a vending machine once....I was replaying the saying over and over confusing myself.... :bad:

Yeah, my kid's book growing up said "red to yellow, kill a fellow -- red to black, venom lack."

But then some girl who supposedly knew reptiles told me "No, it's red to black, flat on back". So I got scared after that.

Wow you've got some gorgeous balls.
That's the first time I've ever said THAT to a complete stranger.

I really like the carpet python too. How's his temperament?

Thanks for the kind words.

The carpet is "ok" to handle at times, most of the time, she will try and take your head off.

Ive always heard it was "Red on yellow, kill a fellow, red on black, your ok jack"

The milk is SUPER calm and I would guess almost 5 feet in legnth.
