Just divine!

My Santos does the tongue thing like that too! It's so cute. He tends to do it if he's been asleep and I wake him.

Will they be released into the wild, Ian, or kept for future breeding colonies?

I'd have to say Shingles are my fav. sub-species. I've never owned one but I just love the look and everything. Only if they weren't so expensive here in America! :x

Hi twins! :heyho:

The June edition of Reptiles magazine has an article about Shinglebacks. Is it true that Shinglebacks can live up to 50 years in the wild?

by Richard.C
come in june, not sure about 50 years mate, but they can live over 20,ive had my oldest pair since 94,13 years, they were adult when i got them and have bred them the last 4 years straight, they have plenty of good years left in them,i love my stumpies, just cant bring my self to sell the bubs, lol,so my group is growing in number each year, maybe im lucky they only average 2 bubs per season, ian those western stumpies r gorgeous mate, definatly on my wish list,i keep asperas,i love your bub and mum shot, keep up the great work, pity about the injured stumpies but u have to do whats in there best interests mate, and u should feel great for the ones u can help,im sure they are happy you help them in the end

Thanks for showing all those pics!! I'm a nOoB and I see a lot of red X's when I go back to old posts and pics. :?

Awesome Skinks!! I don't know how you can release them once they're all better, though. I have a house full of critters that I rehab'd... and was supposed to find new homes for. I'm a softy and get too attached :P

Ha!

Ian I saw your little wanted poster you tried sneakin' in there. What would a picture spread be without some silly DeadEye pictures?

No worries mate, sometimes making the peaceful end come sooner for a suffering friend is the kindest thing you can do. Your "Bluey Karma" is probably much more in your favor for all the good you do anyway!!!

This forum wouldn't be the same without ya Ian! :edward: :2thumbs:
