What's the best way?

I have zapped it or dry fry{no oil} in the pan, usually feed chiken or snails more than not, beef if nothing else around,I worry about "made skink desease"from dodgy beef

never done beef, so far just ground turkey and now snails. Just make sure it's a very lean kind, and i would guess boil little balls of it. Worked well with turkey anyway.

The mince you buy in australia blotch has additives that preserve it or make it appear fresh,ive lost several baby lizards by feeding them mince beef,safer to use tinned pet food.There was a TV programme in australia that stated there isnt any law in australia like the USA that prohibits additives to meats here,ive killed baby pink tongues and blotchys by feeding fresh lean mince because i didnt realise they put preservatives,toxic to little animals!

Already fed it to them.

You can feed it raw to blutongues,get the wrong batch from a shop thats used preservatives and baby lizards can be adversly effected,mince specifically made for pets is best.Its knowing what they put in it,there is no labelling of additives,so some is OK and some is not,thats a fact.

all my blueys that have eaten it are adults, and it was cooked with rice and egg. not much was eaten either. the rest was frozen. you thoughts?

yeah that's not really cool. I had a think about it, and I called up the Melbourne Zoo. I have to call them back between 3:30 - 4pm to talk to someone in the reptile house. I figure that they are the experts, and they obviously have blueys there (well they did last time I was there) so they'd know better than anyone. I'm definately gonna let you guys know what they say. I just chopped up a heap of dandelion leaves and mixed them in with dog food. Only one of my blueys has shown any interest, and that was after I gave him a few meal worms as a starter.
