Blueys are like pringles.....

you can't have just one. Up until yesterday I had done well only craving a new bluey and not giving in. But then....I got a phone call from Renee, and whoops, wouldn't you know it? I've got a silver tanimbar now! Baloo has a neighbor! I inherited Tarzan from Renee and now he's settling into his new home. I will post pictures as soon as he decides to come out into the open. Right now, it just looks like a pet tank.
I did manage to hold him today though. Took about 30 minutes to convince him to let me rub him up and down his body without too much huffing and no gaping. But then I was able to pick him up without him freaking. YAY!
Renee, I will send some pictures of his home over, I think you'll be happy.

Yeah.... I'm "happy with one"... but if I see a light colored baby for a really good price at the atlanta reptile expo.... it will be hard to pass up, hehe.
Gratz on the new bluey, looking forward to seeing pics!

Yeah! Glad Tarzan is staying close.
You'll have to come down sometime to see TQ. They're nearly the same age, and TQ is a puppy dog these days.

Congrats on inheriting the wild man Tarz! Is Tarz the one who did the death role on Zach's finger?

Zach, I would LOVE to come see TQ. I have a hunch that Tarz will never be quite a puppy, but I think that he will come around to being handled more. I didn't realize that the tanimbar baby video was HIM!! OMG, I'm glad that he's calmed down some since then. I might have been over my head.

Aww your so lucky. Just tell Tarz it was his video that heped me fall in love with tannies! Tarz and TQ made me love these awesome critters! And this year I'm finally getting one (or two)! Tell them both so they can get a nice Ego boost.

I've decided that Tarz has quite enough of an ego. I'm quickly falling for this guy. He's so tough!!
I just took new pictures of Baloo Marie, I promise I will post them soon. I'm just not on my home computer right now.

I tried to take pictures of him today Renee, but all I got was a butt shot. You're right he's pretty skittish. He keeps hiding in the foliage and peeking out at me from the top cage. My desk is right next to it so he's looking down on my head. I'm not allowed to look back at him though. Hehehe!! I love my new friend!

Ohhh, he was CRAZY the day he came. That video was either the first day, or the second.....maybe third day. He was totally not handleable. He'll tame down! He was always a tiny bit more aggressive than TQ, but he'll totally turn into a little wimpy pudding in your hand man man man.

Tarz came from Ray. I'm not sure the parents, but his birthday is April 29, 2004
