BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

I have 2 uromastyx and the other morning i walked up and the one i think is a male had the one i think is a female by the tip of the tail like follow the leader. Is this aggressive, playful or just normal behavior???

I only have 1 uro so really can't help much with their behavior when their together. But I NEVER house anything together unless I am sure of their sex and know for a fact they won't be aggressive toward each other. To me it's just not worth the risk of coming home to an injured pet or worse. I would separate them until you know something more.

I totally agree with Shellyjean... it's better for all involved if you separate them until you have positively ID'd them. Uros pack a hefty bite and can do some serious damage in very little time.

I have a male, myself. I'm looking for a female for him still... I'm picky about CBB and all that. Anyway... once I have the female even, I won't house them together all the time due to harassment and all that.

IMO, it's best to give the pair a cooling period... ie. a season or two, off.

Off-topic thread, please! That's why it is there.

I didnt see a thread for it i looked but must have missed it. anyways these were babies and i bought them together, and in the care sheets about them it tells differant traits for males and females. my two seem to have the differant traits which leads me to believe male and female. but they always get along this is the first thing i have ever saw and it didnt seem aggressive it seemed almost like mating but they are young still.

It's the thread that has about 40+ pages that says "OFF-TOPIC THREAD" in capitalized letters.
