Once, we took Scout outside with a nice meal of boiled chicken, strawberries, turnip greens and summer squash, and he completely ignored it and went after dog poop instead When we took him back inside, he was "full" and didn't want anything to do with the salad.
Sigh...

Lisa told me her "kids" eat possum turds all the time...
A lot of scavenging animals like foul and rotted things to up their immunity and ability to eat foods like that continuously, they benefit bacterial cultures and enzymes sometimes not found on more "normal," foodstuffs.

Yeah mine eat dog poo. It's not like I plonk them in front of a nice big juicy one and say 'come and get your dinner' but they are scavengers.
Anyway, it comes from my dogs, and I know they're healthy so their poo should be, too! I let em have a mouthful (they like the dried up old bits that were missed at poop-scooping time) and then move them on.

I got so mad about a month ago, this fat, lazy jackass from the ghetto apartments behind me, lets his stupid poodle-thing dog crap all over my lawn. I fetched a bag, palmed the most recent turd (still warm), caught up with him, said, "Sir! You forgot something!"... Gave him the turd minus the bag, which he thought I perhaps found his lost million dollar watch, accepted willingly. Not a happy man.
He hasn't been back since, I apparently wasted my seven other times asking nicely. That'll teach me.

Yes, so much can be accomplished with a good pile of poo.
I did similar with a neighbour that used to let their dog crap all over our place. I painted his front door with it. Since I don't have an artistic bone in my body, I made up for lack of talent by ensuring I used plenty of 'paint' to cover my canvas
And on that perfumed note, I gotta go rip the top off a few. And unfortunately I don't mean beers

YES!!! Sometimes you have to do what you have to do to actually get something done.
