Opinion on this ebay enclosure?
Hey guys... I just found this on ebay, and was wondering what you all thought of it. I typed in "reptile enclosure," this was the only result, pickup only, and it happens to be under 20 mins from me. If i get my tax return soon I might have to get it, it seems like building my own would cost almost that much, if not more. Plus it's HUGE!

That thing... is pretty dang ugly looking, sorry.
You could retrofit a piece of furniture that would look much nicer, and it wouldn't be $150. For about $50 and some elbow grease you could turn the bottom half of a dinner hutch into a beautiful vivarium...

Goodbye, BTS.net -- We've had to good times. I do hope someone else will come along and make it the lovely community it once was.

I'm not sure what kind of bluey you have (your avatar looks like a indo), but a 40 gallon breeder is big enough for a 20 inch skink and costs 89 dollars. You could get the tank and supplies for under 150.

Poor B is all alone here....I change my vote. I like it.
Awww, thanks Zach!
I do think it is overpriced though.
And Kyle, I will happily take ugly furniture as long as it is free!!!

Agreed!
It's not about what's big enough for him, hehe, I want him to be spoiled! And you're right about "him" being indo, or at least thats what i was told. If I build something it will prolly be 4'x3' or maybe 5x2 and like 16 inches high. I also found this:

The top one looks like it might be cool, but i would have to buy new bulbs i think. The price is unfortunate too(and it's not very cool looking), but i found a site selling them for 265. Any of you guys have experience with a cage like this?
